Here our some of our most frequently asked questions... Please feel free to send an email if you don’t see yours answered below! |
|
Can someone come to watch? Do they have to pay the fees?
Absolutely! Non-bowlers are certainly welcome to come watch, play pool and participate in the other activities taking place that night however every attendee, whether they are bowling or not, must pay the entrance fee ($35.00 for non-bowlers / $40.00 for bowlers) as well as raise a minimum of $100.00. For further explanation of why we ask everyone to participate, see next question.
How much of the money goes to the beneficiary?
The entrance fee contributes towards the overhead – the cost of the venue, food, etc. 100% of the money raised by each individual that attends (this is why we have a $100 minimum per person!) as well as the proceeds from the raffle and three ball tournament all go direct to the family.
How is the beneficiary chosen?
Every year an email announcement is distributed to industry professionals as well press releases that are published in trade publications requesting nominations for trade show people or families in need. We ask for beneficiaries to be from the New England area when possible. A beneficiary is chosen based on these nominations submitted by their peers.
Can people outside the industry participate?
Definitely! All are welcome!
How can I help?
There are many ways to help but attendance at the event is the best way by far! If you are planning on joining us, consider forming a team of your co-workers, peers, customers or friends. If you can’t make it, consider sponsoring one of the bowlers, any amount is appreciated! In addition, we offer corporate sponsorships and welcome raffle donations.
I have a bunch of golf balls with my company logo on them. Can these be donated for the raffle?
While we appreciate the offer, raffle donations are limited to non-logo items with the exception being logoed items that are part of a gift basket. |
